We want to bring to your attention some important details that will help all of us make things run smoothly. Please help us by following some simple directions so we can give you the best Salsa Convention ever!

The Directors of each team are responsible for contacting the MSC committee for any information on their teams. Please ask your team members not to contact us directly unless it is an emergency. ALL questions or inquiries should come from the team's director .

ALL TEAMS NEED TO APPLY BY January 31st, 2008. (NO EXCEPTIONS). IF YOUR TEAM IS SELECTED, THEN YOU MUST REGISTER AND INCLUDE PAYMENT IF YOU WISH TO PURCHASE A PASS BY MARCH 1ST, 2008. IF WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR TEAMS COMPLETED REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT BY THIS DATE, WE WILL ASSUME YOUR TEAM HAS DECIDED NOT TO PERFORM.

ALL TEAMS SELECTED NEED TO BE AVAILABLE TO PERFORM AS OF THURSDAY April 17th - SUNDAY April 20th, 2008.

TO ALL DIRECTORS; PLEASE RESPECT THE TIME LIMITS! THE LIMIT FOR A GROUP IS 5 MINS. AND FOR A COUPLE IS 3 MINS. ALSO KEEP THE ROUTINES AT 80% SALSA.

WHAT TO BRING? :
Bring at least two (2) CDs with only the music of your performance on the CD. If the CD has more than your performance music, it will not be accepted. When mixing the performance music on your CDs, please mix it on different brands of CDs. Some equipment do not read all the brands of CDs out in the market today. Please bring these CDs to your scheduled tech rehearsal. Final performance schedules and rehearsal times will be determined about two weeks before the convention. Please make it a point to know when and where you need to be, and of course, be on time. Thanks.

Requirement: you must rehearse your number on stage with your full team. The tech rehearsal time will be given to you ahead of time. Once it is confirmed, it is mandatory that you show up to the rehearsal or you will not perform. Also bring your props at this time (if any).

Costumes: Please remember that your costumes, performances and your music should be appropriate for all ages. There will be young performers attending this event. No jeans please.

DANCERS' PASS INFORMATION :
Dance teams selected and ONLY their dancers performing at the MSC will be able to attend Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings for only $125 CAN. This pass will entitle them to all the evenings as well as all the workshops (Saturday, Sunday).  Team Members not performing are not entitled to this Special Price.
