Eddie Torres has trained thousands of dancers, including some of the most well known contemporary dancers such as Frankie Martinez and Seaon Brystol. Through his dance school and world travels and performances, he has taught thousands of people how to dance salsa in his own distinctive style.

David Zepeda: Born and raised in Puebla, Mexico, David grew up with a love for music and dance. With rhythm flowing in his veins, he chose dance as his profession and committed himself to mastering as many forms of dance that his feet could handle. Among them are break dancing, ballet, modern, jazz, Latin rhythms, acrobatics, African rhythms and hip-hop.

Paulina Posadas: born in Morelia, Mexico. She developed an interest in dance at an early age. At the age of 15, she began ballroom dance classes with the group "Ritmo Latino," learning such rhythms as cha cha cha, samba, cumbia, merengue, rock and roll, salsa…to name a few. Enchanted, her passion for dance exploded and she began training in ballet, jazz and gymnastics.

We are happy to announce the Montreal Salsa Convention will host for first time in Montreal, Canada Juan Matos & Amneris Martinez. They will bring a new flavor to Montreal with their energetic and brand new Salsa style. Their brand of Afro-Cuban motion in their shows is renown all over the world. For the first time at the Montreal Salsa Convention, we are happy to welcome Rodrigo and Selene from Mexico. They travel the world bringing their own unique style to teach and burn the stage.

consist of Nina Tirado-Hassan, Patty Granados and Melanie Castillo. Nina, was born and raised in NY has been dancing for 23 years. Her love and passion for the dancing is what keeps her growing to be the dancer she is today. Nina currently teaches at Balmir Dance Studion in Brooklyn, NY where is directs Mambo Tirado Semi Pro.

Together they are certified ballroom dance instructors in 9 different dance styles who are rapidly leaving their mark on the competitive dance world with recent finalist placements at the Cubby Bear Salsa Competition in Chicago (3rd), Toronto Salsa Festival Professional Salsa and Bachata Divisions (1st and 2nd respectively), and Michigan Dance Challenge Showdance/Cabaret Division (4th). 

Matei Livianu (pronounced 'mah-tay') Matei started dancing ballroom in 2000 in Los Angeles with the Clarement Colleges Ballroom Dance Company. Competing in International Latin events around the country, he and his partner won the Collegiate Open Paso Doble Championship, and with the tour team, the Collegiate Formation Team Championship in 2003. 

Contemporary Spanish dancer trained in Ballet, Modern, Flamenco and
Classical Spanish Dance with professional experience and versatile
educational background; graduated in May 2011 with an MFA in Dance
from New York University´s Tisch School of the Arts.

Founded in 2009 by Carlos Gonzalez, Providence's premiere dance team comes to the Montreal Salsa Convention. Their signature routines blending in many styles of dance are energetic and gracefull.

Salsila Dance Company was founded by James Thomas in 2005.
James is originally from Ivory Coast and he moved to Bordeaux, France,
to follow his passion, football. He reached the second class division
level, first in France, later in The Netherlands. In 1997 he
discovered a new passion: salsa dancing.

Tito Ortos and Tamara started their carreer as a Salsa Dancer by his parents' initiatives, who took him to his first dance teacher. Since then, both have visited more than 30 cities worldwide giving performances and classes. They participate yearly in congresses around the world.

The duet of Ana and Joel Massicot are dedicated to conveying a message through their choreography, using dance as an artistic expression. With a rare and unique control of their body movement, they accentuate the instruments in the music and provide a visual representation of the sound.

Billy Fajardo and Katie Marlow are in demand all over the world as performers, educators and adjudicators. This couple holds the distinction of versatility.

Since joining in forces in 2007 Luis and Anya are currently the on2 WORLD SALSA CHAMPIONS along with having become two time undefeated San Francisco Congress Salsa champions, New York Congress champions, Puerto Rico Hustle and Salsa champions, and are currently the North American Salsa Champions and two time winners of the NY/NJ salsa open.
